WORKROOM

I've been making stuff out of bits of fabric since I was a little kid.  Happily my Grandma Beardsley taught me how to use a sewing machine one rainy family vacation.  All these years later, I've had the privilege of working professionally as a Costumer / Fine Tailor and Decorator - using the skills I've honed over the years to make my clients and their homes beautiful!  I've been the happy recipient of fragments and bits of gorgeous fabrics and passementeries from many of the theatrical projects of worked on over the years.  I am passionate about recycling these textile orphans into lovely one-of-kind creations.  I'm constantly adding interesting textiles to my stash - especially vintage pieces.  I also source high-end decorator fabrics remnants to repurpose into something beautiful later!  (Many of my custom pieces have found new homes on a clients sofa, in a new costume, as a prop or set decoration over time.)

If you have a project that requires custom design and sewing; interesting upholstery or pretty much anything else involving textiles, get in touch.  If I can't help you, I can connect you with someone who can.  Thanks for your interest!

I have a fully stocked studio workroom in NYC for projects and builds.
